Good Friday Down Under!!!

Ok i spent the weekend in Australia.

Night Before. Goes to airport and checks in before heading to the lounge. I grab a 7-UP and go the computer area in the lounge that had computers looking disturbingly like my own. Talks to people on facebook due to the lack of msn. Attempts to grab my 7-Up but hits the side and it goes whoosh in a circle before returning back to its standing position lacking much of its original content. Despite much persuasion from some (I'm sorry XP), due to the great and overwhelming distance of the servietts, i left the desktop a little more moist and sticky than it was supposed to be. Oh well.

1st Day. Met up with Chris and Jill (cousin and cousin-in-law) and Ah Kim (aunt), and after having half of our plans ruined by Good Friday, we settled for some jet boat cruise. When we first got on they asked for our valuables we did not want to get wet. When this type of thing happens, no one really suspects anything. When the joy ride begins, the captain starts with an introduction, explaining it was their intent to get us all wet. Once again, one does not suspect anything wrong. After speeding up and twisting and turning, we did get a little wet, and i thought that was all....
Then the dude accelerates like a mad man then suddenly does a full stop and we see this wave of water droplets freeze in mid-air in front of us. The thought, "Uh-oh." raced through our minds, and a second later that same wave of water came splashing down on us. A few seconds ago, I was just admiring my cool new hairstyle with much thanks to the wind, and there it was looking like i just had a shower a few seconds later. And my sis and I were wondering why the seats were so wet.

2nd day. I wake up late and get up to eat lunch and then go fishing with Ah Kim :) Ok so i hook on the bait onto the hook and go on to throw the line into the sea. A second later, there's a bite so i reel it in. ITS A FISH! A BLOW FISH <3 But then Ah Kim comes over and says its a pest, and carries on with stabbing it and taking the hook out. This continues on, with her using methods such as stabbing, cutting (with scissors), and stomping. After my 15th blowfish, i give up and try to kill them too. I repeat, try. I take a knife and can't really bring myself to stab it so i just poke it gently.... And the knife bounces off. This continues with me asserting a bit more force until i finally give up. Phase 2: SCISSORS! So i take the scissors from the bucket and try to deflate the stupid thing, once again did not really want to kill it so i did not use to much force, but i continue to press forth until the thing finally deflates, blowing air/water out of its mouth. A second later, it re-inflates itself =.= So i move on to stepping on it. After many desperate attempts to end its life, I finally give up and kick it into the river. A second later, it swims away....

OMGWTFBBQ!!!!

That line just raced through my mind for a few seconds and after which i had a new found respect for blowfish.

Moving on, we went on to the indoor Go Kart area. Drift! Drift! <3

3rd Day: Wake up. Carry shopping bags around. Eat. Carry shopping bags around. Go to airport. Carry shopping bags around. Flight back home. Carry Shoppings bags around. Im home!

THE SKY IS FALLING!

Today after school, i went for the Softball B-division finals at Catholic High, RI vs Marist. We started to own from the start and after a few balls, one was sent towards the crowd, ok quite high over the crowd. After wondering for a few seconds where the ball disappeared to, this black UFO came falling down from the roof. I thought it was the softball so i was just waiting for it to fall. Suddenly i felt something hit my arm, and it wasn't the softball... IT WAS A TILE THAT BROKE COZ OF THE SOFTBALL!

Well it didn't really hurt because i was too shocked to react, but oh well ._.


After that got a few random smses from people which mainly consisted of the following :

XD
NICE ONE
LOL! and the like.

Ya. Now i'm like famous as the guy who got hit by a falling tile.

Anyway, yay to the win! ^^

SURPRISE WJ! :D

Today, after a week+ of "planning" by yk and cc, we celebrated wj's bday :) The whole day was a mix of good and bad i guess, so i guess its evened out in a way.

First things first, woke up at 12 today ><> thick black sides with thin yellow lines ^^) Ate lunch at Sakae then rushed for TLL.

And you will never know how big a TLL classroom can be till u go to Paris 1 (IT HAS 40 SEATS Oo) + if u turn off the lights to watch a video, it's a cinema :D Seems like the class before us was jotting down notes with their handphone lights. Us being us just happily watched the video while the lights were out XD CC then calls me in the middle of class so i rush outside of class to answer the phone. This mass of small children outside my class just stared at me and my feet. I look down and realise i had taken off my shoes revealing my 辛 cup noodle design socks. You should have seen the look on their faces, it was epic.

So i meet the random people going to wj's party after class, and we after a lot of walking around to find a present we decided on some crazily big NERF turret that costs a BOMB.

After which we got ready and surprised wj in the function room :D Had card games, NERF gun shooting and BBQ after. While attempting to start the fire for the bbq, i was fiddling with the lighter when it suddenly went POOM! and caught fire. I'm quite slow when it comes to reacting to heat, ask my sis. I quote, "Brandon has this thing about hot things, 1 time in a hotel there was this sign that read "HOT! BE CAREFUL WHEN TAKING TOWEL!"(or something like that) and well not too sure why but i touched the rail anyway, and couldn't really feel how hot it was till a few seconds later when it was already too late ._. Oh well. Anyway, back to what happened with the lighter, after it went POOM! and caught fire, well i couldn't feel the heat for quite awhile so i was trying to think of what was the best thing to do, throw it towards the charcoal to make them light up, or... and by the time a 2nd idea came up i realised it was hot. Dropped it a second later, and the rest blew it out. Anyway, it took me awhile later to realise i had burned my hand abit, and after the deciding between where to cool it, SINK VS SINK, i walk to the sink and my sis shouts, "THERE'S A LARGE POOL BEHIND YOU!" whoops XD So i put my hand into the pool to cool it. (I'm usually quite agile when it comes to other stuff but when it comes to heat and FIRE, well my body is just like, oooooo fire ><)

I return back to find my VERY EXPENSIVE PRESENT for wj ALREADY SPOILT. (only 3 hrs since it came off the shelf) After many attempts to save it, i gave up. Hopefully, they will be able to get it refunded tomorrow if not ALL OF YOU OWE ME MONEY FOR IT!!!!!! *sobs* my wallet has never been so light cept for the time i first got it :(

Millipede Graveyard :3

Anyone who comes to my house right now would notice the floor is entirely strewn with millipedes, dead or alive. I repeat... ENTIRELY. It's become so bad to the point that even if you try to like hop, tip-toe, or fly across, YOU STILL MANAGE TO STEP ON ONE OF THEM. D: Think they appeared when the gardeners like overturned the soil but they have now become a part of my life (even if they are already dead, they still appear under my shoes).

Meanwhile, it seems that my "math geniusness" that I apparently lost along with the leaving of primary school, is beginning to surface again (i hope :D). TAs were both full marks so far, and hopefully only -0.5 for the CCT ^^

I have recently become quite fond of Facebook, the changing of relationship status of people is quite entertaining ^^ So are random pics of people, including Kevin Beck and the blinding tubby. One look and you're freaked out for life. And i realised for like almost all the "not so good" notes i have done i managed to get 1 of the highest scores! (52% for i screwed up my teenage life and 81/132 for the stupidity 1 ._.) Bleh.

For some unknown reason, i have also been given the title "BIMBO" by a certain someone, *cough*charmaine*cough*, who has divided RI guys into nerds and bimbos. Being the non-nerdy me, i was given the honour of being the first 'bimbo' she came to know of. At first all was well, with the BIMBO! VS. DEARIE! name-calling battle, but just yesterday jia xuan and her agreed on a new nickname for me....
playboy. NOOOOOOOO!!!!!! I mean Jia Xuan, the nice girl i knew in Tao Nan, had agreed on the name playboy for me D: *sobs* I'm betting it is all de certain someone that corrupted so her >:( Seeing that the new nickname upset me, dearie(this is meant to make her cringe) decides to make a compromise, and calls me....... BIMBO PLAYBOY! -.-

But i'm quite surprised we still talk to each other. Met in the RI canteen one random day while saying hi to Jia Xuan who i hadn't seen in years. (It seems that she thinks that having low pants = bimbo, me having not worn a belt that day and having also lost the pants button = having low pants = bimbo.) Anyway, so i saw her face later that day on facebook and added her. We started talking because of a quite a random discussion on how the :3 emoticon on facebook looked like, she says its a bunny, though i always thought it was the cute pouty face :3

On a side note, DOM N BEN FINALLY HAF INTERNET THAT ISN'T AS CRAPPY AS IT USED TO BE :D *jumps for joy* Ok it is still kind of crappy as heard by dom's incessent cries, "LAGLAGLAG" but either way... :3

Vdays over

Hmm... For Valentine's Day, having no one to go out with, I went for TLL as usual and gave the girls n Ms Ang roses... but...
I FORGOT TO TAKE OFF THE PRICE TAGGGG >< well other than that i guess it went well :P Then went for korean bbq at taka and striked up a conversation with my sis about a christian name to give wj(his sis is called stephanie). After not much contemplation, we looked each other and said, "Bob." XD

Speaking of my sis, she has bought new specs that look like the Harry Potter one ._. Have no idea why shes loves them but oh well.

Week so far has gone as per normal and I'm doing quite well for math (full marks for the TAs so far and i beat Kieng Mahhh :D) After moving to sit next to Eng Han, i have been tormented with having to explain to him why there can be a negative angle on the 4th quad for trigo and how to derive it (spent like 1/2 of math and 1/2 of chinese today tryin to explain to him...) If I go crazy by the end of this year, I'm blaming you Eng Han :(

Oh yeah remembered something damn funny that happened in class. Edwin suddenly started sniffing around then looks back to the people behind him. "I smell food."
We look around to find food when suddenly, Jerry looks to him and says,

"I just burped twice."
LOL. That was quite gross but damn funny XD

Time moves forward, yet at times it moves back

Me shall try to keep the blog alive as much as i can. Usually i have lots of things i want to blog about, but by the end of the day, everything just slips out of my mind and i forget about it.

Had scouts bday bash this morning which wasn't as fun as i would have hoped... (think it's coz of all the time my usual bunch spends at east coast park, this wasn't quite as fun :()

After that, had Learning Lab where the usual craziness ensued. Did on the subject Siamese twins and more importantly, i managed to fix Kevin Beck's MAKE THE CUBES FORM A BIG CUBE CUBE! WJ now has Ms Ang too so I'm guessing his class is going to speak more.

At around 6+ went to meet Merv, Lock Leong, CC, WJ, YK and Marie to eat and i showed them the wonders of free flow drinks and ice cream at Dhoby XPress, except that we did not have time to refill our ice cream cups...

After that, we were late. Again. So we rushed to Cathay for Benjamin Button :) It was a damn nice show, almost cried(hate the feeling in my chest when i feel like crying). Currently, the people whose tears actually managed to roll down their cheeks were:
Marie Lim (cried and almost did not pay for dinner -.-)
My sis (who prior to the movie put free promo eyeliner. Eyeliner + Benjamin Button = Goth look. Imagine all the freaked out people Oo)
But there were lots of funny parts like, "Will you sleep with me?" "Absolutely" and "Did I tell u i got struck by lightning 7 times?" and this random black n white scene of a random bolt of lightning suddenly striking a guy randomly and then he jumps onto the floor. Epic.

Yesterday, I had a retarded moment at Subway. We were talking about how we should split the costs since CC managed to eat up half of my cookie and have it transferred into my Sprite -.-, when suddenly CC decides to be retarded and say "hehe" in some damn deep stupid voice + 1/2 more words that caused me to laugh with my cookie in my mouth. Can't remember how but he managed to make me laugh more, oh yeah, it was his retarded looking grin. Anywayz, couldn't hold it in any longer and the end result was black stuff on his face XD

Eng Han also found out who Merv was for the 1st time and vice versa, and after 20 mins of persuading Eng Han to go Merv's house to study instead of the library, we pushed him in the taxi anyway. The reaction when anyone goes to Merv's house for the first time is basically the same and shall not need to be further elaborated on.
